Longlines tub FILEHOOK

The FILEHOOK Storage Tub allows for semi-auto setting of longlines. The setting speed of the longline is about 6 to 9 knots or about 1 hook/sec.

The mainline hauled by the longlines hauler GENIHALEUR falls neatly into the patented FILEHOOK Storage Tubs. The snoods remain connected to the mainline and each hook is stored neatly in its position on the tub outer ring. Repairs can be made while still hauling.

Used for pelagic or bottom fishing, the Storage Tub holds all types of hooks (Tuna circle hooks, “J” hooks, etc.). The hooks on FILEHOOK Tubs can be pre-baited and the tubs can be stacked vertically into each other to save space on the deck.

The crown placed on the tub stops the bait from being damaged even when tubs are stacked vertically. The maximum of piled Storage Tubs is 15 (height: 180cm).

The tubs are available with 100 or 80 hook slots but it can be custom made for 50, 60, 70, 90, 110 hooks slots.
